Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer to manage project costing, BOQ preparation, and cost control for residential construction projects. The role involves working closely with the design and site teams to ensure accurate estimation, budget management, and profitability across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for construction and interior projects
Perform cost estimation including material, labour, and finishing costs
Develop and manage project budgets
Conduct rate analysis and vendor cost comparisons
Track actual vs estimated costs during project execution
Verify contractor and vendor bills and measurements
Manage variations and additional work costing
Support in preparing client quotations and proposals
Coordinate with site engineers and procurement team for cost efficiency

Requirements:

Diploma / B.E in Civil Engineering
2–5 years of experience in construction or interior projects
Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods
Proficiency in MS Excel (mandatory)
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience in residential / villa projects
Familiarity with BOQ software or estimation tools
Basic AutoCAD knowledge
